When it is raised
Raised when, in the first 300,000 characters of the HTML, outside comments, the page has no og:site_name tag with non-empty content. Only the first og:site_name tag that has a content attribute is read; if its content is empty or whitespace, that tag counts as absent even when a later og:site_name has a value. Any non-empty value passes.
What it does to a shared link
The page supplies no site or brand name for a card to display.
How to fix it
- Add an og:site_name tag with the name of the site or brand.
- Use the same value on every page of the site.
