AI & agentic engineering
Agentic AI coding workflows, and the open-source tooling that keeps them honest on real codebases. We build candor, which maps what every function can reach and fails the build when it crosses a line you declared — four language engines, one policy file. We also put LLMs to work on retrieval, automation and decision support.
Cloud & DevOps
We build, migrate and run cloud systems, most often on AWS and happily on GCP or Azure. One platform we run is defined top to bottom in Terraform and deployed as isolated stacks in two regions, with health checks that alert the team within minutes.
Data engineering
Data pipelines and warehouses: moving data between systems, modelling it, and getting it to the reports and services that use it.
Java
Enterprise Java and Jakarta EE, with 20+ years of server-side delivery for large enterprises and the public sector. Spring, Hibernate and Tomcat, the migrations onto them, and Spring Boot upgrades past end of life. We design with interfaces and generics so the code takes new requirements without a rewrite.
Web applications
Responsive web apps, server-rendered and progressively enhanced, so they work before the JavaScript does. One we maintain has been in continuous development since 2017.
Mobile apps
Enterprise mobile apps, standalone or part of a wider system. We build and maintain the GoodFlexi mobile app alongside the platform and API it talks to.
Enterprise databases
Oracle, PostgreSQL/EnterpriseDB and MySQL: schema design, migrations, replication, and the tuning that keeps them fast as the data grows.
Legacy systems
We modernise outdated, restrictive systems incrementally, without a risky big-bang rewrite. The old and the new run side by side behind one front door, and we move a slice at a time while the system stays in production.
System integration
We connect the systems your business relies on: APIs between them, data feeds in and out, and one login across them. GoodFlexi’s platform exposes 180+ API endpoints, with login moving onto AWS Cognito. We take an integration from the first consultation to hands-on project management.
Polymorphism took over development of our GoodFlexi platform as it became increasingly sophisticated. Their team consistently deliver enhanced functionality demanded by the diverse range of public agencies, commercial employers and worker groups that we serve.
